It's nice having kids who are old enough to stay home alone for a few hours. They insist on it sometimes and are perfectly content to stay home with Hungry Man dinners (don't judge) and Netflix while we go out to talk about grownup stuff over fancy dinners. Tonight we walked down Scarborough and turned left (we usually turn right) toward the east tail end of Queen Street and ended up at Pattaya Thai Kitchen for the best Thai I've tasted in Toronto, or maybe even anywhere, hands down.
